Canopy Digital is a trading name of Canopy Digital Group Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 16791178), with its registered office at 17 Bulstrode Way, Gerrards Cross, England, SL9 7QT ("we", "us"). We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. You can contact us about anything in it at tom@canopydigital.net.
We process business contact data under legitimate interests (UK GDPR and EU GDPR Article 6(1)(f)) to send relevant business-to-business communications. We process client data to perform our contract with them. We only contact business addresses with messages relevant to the recipient's role, and every message includes a way to opt out.
If you receive an email from us or on behalf of one of our clients and don't want to be contacted again, reply asking to be removed or email us. We'll block you straight away and keep you on a suppression list so you aren't contacted again.
When a prospect books a meeting with one of our clients, we pass that client the prospect's contact details. We also use trusted processors to run our service, including email sending, CRM and scheduling providers (for example Calendly). Some of these may process data outside the UK or EEA. Where they do, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
We keep prospect data only as long as needed for the campaign it was collected for, and no longer than 12 months unless the prospect becomes a client or asks to be contacted. We keep client records for as long as the law requires for accounting and tax purposes. Suppression records are kept indefinitely so we can honour opt-outs.
You have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict use of your data, and to object to how we use it. To exercise any of these rights, email us. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) or to the data protection authority in your country.
